Jackson commits to Marshall

Photo: Robbie JacksonAfter his visit to Marshall's campus, the 7'0 center from Prince Avenue Prep in South Carolina informed the Select coaching staff that he liked it so much that he wanted to forgo his other visits and commit. Marshall Asst Coach Aki Collins has played a big part in recruiting Jackson since he saw him play at the Kingwood Classic in April 2005. That was a great tournament for Robbie as he continued to play well throughout the summer. Jackson needs to work on his conditioning and footwork this year at Prince Avenue Prep because Marshall Head Coach Ron Jirsa is looking for big things from his new recruit. Jirsa said that Jackson will be the biggest person on campus and he wants to make sure it stays that way for the 2006-07 season. Congratulations Robbie!!!!
