Josh Selby ranked 11th in the country at his position
Josh Selby has transferred to Dematha HS in Hyattsville, Md and worked hard to get his national exposure. After getting the #2 ranking after the Adidas Phenom Camp this past summer, Josh began his work at Dematha. He took a couple of summer classes and started to work with Head Coach Mike Jones of Dematha. He has recently been ranked #11 in the country for the Class of 2010. His season begins with Dematha at the Caron Butler Classic being held at Cooldige HS sponsored by Caron Butler, Downtown Locker Room and Nike. We will keep you posted. Congratulations Josh!!!

After visit, Big Kuba committs to Central Florida

John Carroll's big center is heading to the sunshine state after his successful visit to he University of Central Florida. Central Florida was the first school to begin recruiting BIg Kuba since he was a sophomore and just arrived at John Carroll. Kuba is one of the biggest players in the country in the class of 2007.
Big Kuba had a great Summer with the Select team. He participated at the Spring Fling in New Jersey, the Adidas It Takes 5ive Tournament in Cincinnatti, The Players Ball in New Jersey, HoopGroups West Virginia Tournament and The Adidas Super 64. He also spent a significant amount of time with Coach Martin at John Carroll on individual workouts with the coahing staff.
Kuba was also being recruited by Georgetown, LaSalle, South Florida, Penn State and others. Congratulations Big Kuba!!!!

Stukes lands in the Development League
Former Select and University of Georgia standout Levi Stukes has landed a place in the NBA's development league. After spending most of the summer working out in Georgia and Miami, Stukes has joined the training camp of the Austin Toros. After speaking with Levi, he plans on working as hard a possible with the team and learn the NBA game. We will be keeping an eye on Levi and will update everyone on his progress. Congratulations Levi!!!
