Stukes hits career high in a win vs. Oregon State
Former Select and Randallstown Ram standout makes a statement vs Oregon State. After starting every game as a freshman along side 4 seniors to giude him and mold him into a strong collegiate point guard, Stukes finds himself the elder statesmen of a young aggressive Bulldog team. Coach Felton informed the the Select staff over the summer that he would be relying on stukes to bring the leadership that is needed to help the young and inexperienced 2004-2005 team. Through the first 3 games Levi was battling a minor injury and also trying to keep everyone in the game and happy. But in the past three games(2-1), Levi has been asserting himself and making things difficult both offensively and defensively to his opponents. Tonight's game Levi scored a career high 31 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and had 4 steals in a 76-74 overtime win vs. Oregon State. The big difference in this game was Stuke's aggressiveness; for the first time this season Stukes went to the free throw line throughou the entire game shooting 13 free throws while only making 7. The one thing Levi needs to continue to work on is his turnovers. He is leading the team in turnovers and Felton is working on that aspect of his game. The bulldogs have a week off and will face Wofford on December 19, 2004.

Stukes named co-captain of the Bulldogs
Levi was named co-captain of his Georgia Bulldogs by his fellow teammates. After a successful freshman season playing along side 4 seniors, Levi did well for himself by being named to the all SEC freshman team at season's end. Coming into this season Levi knew he would be looked upon for leadership from Coach Felton, but he did not expect to be named co-captain by his peers. His team has seen that he has the leadership qualities and named him co-captain. We talked with Levi about be appointed captain and he told us that he was honored and that he would show his leadership throughout the year and try and help the team do as well as possible this season.
