Welcome to Baltimore Select

Baltimore Select is presently in its second season of operation. The program had an excellent first season and has continued that success in the second year. The program has expanded the number of tournaments as well as added a younger travel team.

Despite the progress of the program, the goal hasn't changed -- to develop the whole player, both athletically as well as academically. For these young players cannot be competitive and successful without the combination of academics and athletics.

Baltimore Select features some of the area's best upperclassmen such as: Keith Jennifer and Gil Goodrich of Towson Catholic, Derrick Snowden and Tramaine Robinson of Archbishop Spalding, Tim Payne of St. Francis Academy, David Lunn of McDonogh, and Pierre Tucker and Dontez Dean of Dunbar.

The team also has featured several of the area's underclassmen such as the dynamic Todd Galloway of City College High School and Melvin Scott and Darshawn Luckey of Southern. Several of the up-and-comers have also joined the program: Carmello Anthony, Darnell Hopkins and Byron Joynes of Towson Catholic and Jay Cowan of McDonogh.
